Blocks rebuilt: six kinds became four, each block now picks its own apps, and the
two that count time — Daily allowance and Earned time — finally show the count.
Six kinds of block are now four
Scheduled block, Daily allowance, Earned time and Instant block. The overlapping
kinds have been folded into these. Blocks already set up moved across on their own,
with nothing to set up again.
Daily allowance shows what is left
The time remaining for the day is visible as it is spent, and the apps lock the
moment it runs out — whether or not Eclipta is open.
Earned time pays out for real
Every minute meditated buys app time at a rate you set, and the balance counts
down while it is being spent.
Every block picks its own apps
Each block now holds its own selection, so two blocks can restrict different
things. The shared app groups are gone — they were the reason editing one block
could quietly change another.
Scheduled blocks cover the shapes people actually use
A scheduled block can run overnight, stay shut until a session is finished, or
end at a fixed time, on whichever days are chosen.
1.1.2
Breathing cues for breathwork, blocks that work without a connection, and a Clarity
score that is honest about the days it cannot measure.
Breathing cues in breathwork
Soft, distinct tones mark each inhale, hold and exhale, so the pace can be followed
with the eyes closed. Cues are on by default and can be turned off in session
settings.
Blocks work without a connection
Blocks can be opened and edited with no connection at all. Edits made offline are
kept and sent up the next time the phone is online, and a stored copy from elsewhere
no longer overwrites work done on the device.
Every screen in every language
Onboarding, breathwork, Clarity and stats were still falling back to English. They
now read in German, Spanish, Basque, French, Japanese, and Simplified and Traditional
Chinese, like the rest of the app.
Random timer is now Interval timer
The old name did not describe what the timer does. It is called Interval timer now,
in every language.
Days without usage data are no longer scored as perfect
When daily phone use could not be read, Clarity counted it as flawless focus and
the score came out too high. Those days now show as no data, and the score is worked
out honestly from what is actually known.
The Clarity page adds up
The Mind, Focus and Recovery rows were worked out differently from the number above
them, so the parts visibly did not make the whole. They now come from the exact
values behind the headline score.
Morning and wind-down blocks no longer overlap
With both set, a morning block that ran until meditation kept running all day,
layered on top of the wind-down. The morning block now ends the moment the wind-down
window begins.
Stronger protection for what is kept on the phone
Heart rate and sleep readings held on the device are now stored encrypted and kept
out of backups, and existing data moves across on its own. No new data is
collected.
1.1.1
A polish release, recorded more briefly than the ones after it.
Polish across Stats, Meditate and Profile
A pass over the screens used most, tightening spacing, type and transitions.
Blocking holds more reliably in the background
Blocks are less likely to lapse while Eclipta is closed, with the goals screens
reworked alongside it.
Breathwork session polish
Smaller corrections to how a breathwork session looks and moves.
Signing in by email no longer traps the keyboard
During onboarding, the keyboard could stay up with no way to dismiss it.
